While being able to speak Spanish is a plus, it is not required to participate in this mission.
No special construction skills are required. We will have skilled people at the site and a supervisor will be provided by our ministry partner, Amor.
The Campbell team will meet a representative of Amor, out ministry partner, just north of the Mexico border. They will personally escort our caravan across the border to their secure camp. The camp is monitored by Amor security.
Local pastors choose the recipient family based on certain needs and other factors. Upon completion of the home, all contributors will have the opportunity to meet the chosen family.
We will provide a convenient clothing and equipment list that includes tools and other important items to bring (tent, lantern, camping chair, and more)
Yes, children have participated on previous trip and are welcome to join us in June. Children should be five years of age or older.
We are planning to carpool from Campbell to Mexico. The team would be happy to discuss the transportation plan in further detail including optimal vehicle type (should you want to volunteer to drive) as well as insurance requirements.
We anticipate weather to be mild. However, there is always a possibility of rain or other inclement weather.
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me
