Let’s get ready for camp!
  • Who: All students who have completed 2nd-12th grades are welcome to attend!

    What: Overnight church camp!

    When:  July 7th-12th!

WhereDaybreak is a Christian camp located in the beautiful, coastal redwoods of Felton, CA, just 6 miles from Santa Cruz and the Pacific Ocean.

Focus: Our goal is to create opportunities to build foundations for spiritual refreshment, encouragement, and memorable experiences. Camp provides the unique opportunity for everyone involved to grow deeper spiritually and in their relationships with each other.

  • Early Bird price (through April 28th) is $400 for campers.  After April 28th- $425 for campers.

  • Our ministry team will work with volunteers from our church to staff church camp. Qualified volunteers (see below) will take on roles as cabin leaders and/or help in other areas (crafts, games, lessons, etc.). Daybreak staff will be on site to provide assistance when needed.

  • The care and safety of our campers matters greatly to us. One of the best practices to ensure their safety is to become knowledgeable and trained in all areas of camp safety. All camp volunteers are required to complete a background check, and “MinistrySafe” training prior to volunteering. We believe that these requirements will provide a safe environment for our campers.

  • On our registration form you will be able to list your camper’s allergies to food, medications, etc. Prior to the start of camp we will communicate with our kitchen staff and nurses regarding the allergies of all campers.

Our Kitchen staff will make every reasonable accommodation for your camper.

  • Daybreak requires a full-time adult Health Supervisor (physician, registered nurse, licensed vocational nurse) or a person who is trained in accordance with section 1596-866 of the Health and Safety Code to lead health supervision at camp. We are blessed to have a camp nurse who has been serving at Daybreak for over two decades!

All medications are checked in with the nurse at camper registration (upon arrival). This ensures that campers do not have access to medication that has not been prescribed to them. Inhalers and epi-pens are allowed in the cabin with campers.

In case of an emergency, Daybreak Camp is located in close proximity to Emergency Services and Dominican Hospital.

  •  In an effort to protect our campers and the flow of camp, visitation is not allowed during church camp. If you have any concerns during camp, please contact a camp director. If you want to send mail to your camper for them to receive at camp, see the instructions under “Sending Letters”.
