Bob and Lisa met here at the Campbell Church and have been married for 31 years. They have two adult children, Ashley and Chad. Ashley is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and works at a hospital in San Diego. She is recently married to Ryan Merchen, a newly Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy. chad is a Civil Engineer and works for a Consulting Firm in Sacramento. Bob is a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale. Lisa is the Assistant to the Superintendent at Campbell Christian School and has been a member of the CCS Board of Education for 14 years.

Bob has been a member of the Campbell Church for 35 years, and Lisa grew up here. Bob and Lisa have been active at Campbell Church in a variety of ministries, including Middle School, High School Labor Day Youth Rallies and Youth Adventure Camps at Daybreak Camp, Children’s Ministry, Adult Bible Fellowships including Young Marrieds, Young Families, Parents of Adolescents, and Bob is currently co-teaching an Adult Bible Fellowship Class on Sunday morning. Bob has been involved in Men’s Ministry and conducted Saturday morning Men’s Basketball in the CCS gym for over 5 years for high school age and above. He has also served on several CityTeam Ministry Camping Trips, including Death Valley and Whitewater Rafting.

Ernie and Carla have been married for 27 years and have two sons , a daughter, a daughter in law, and four grandchildren. Together they enjoy serving in student ministry and at Day Break Camp. Ernie is the current elder liaison for Student Ministry.

Ernie enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, camping, hiking, and mountain biking. His favorite bible verse is Romans 12:21, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. This scripture provides a Godly alternative to the hurt and pain people experience. He does his best to live his life by this and prays that others share in the blessings of this scripture as well.

Ken and Donna enjoy serving together in Children’s and Student ministry; seeing children and youth are the future of the church. Ken is a beekeeper who loves talking about bees and honey. He also has a green thumb and enjoys gardening year-round. Donna enjoys being a mom, wife, and being with preschool aged children.

1 Corinthians 13:12-13 is a scripture that reminds us of the hope, faith and love promised to us and what we experience now is a dim reflection of what’s to come.

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Rick and Debbie Oswald met in the Detroit area and were married in 1985. Debbie has a nursing degree from Harding University. Rick attended Michigan State University and the University of Illinois where he received business degrees. They have 3 daughters and two grandchildren.

Rick and Debbie attended the Livonia Church of Christ in the Detroit area for 16 years until HP relocated Rick to Los Gatos in 1997. They have been attending the Campbell Church of Christ since then.

Rick and Debbie were involved with the Young Adult program and Daybreak Camp for a number of years. Rick began serving as an Elder in 2007 and the Executive Minister in 2019. They enjoy bicycle riding, hiking and traveling.

Scott and Linda Pence, lifetime members at Campbell Church. 3 adult sons: Michael, who is married to his wife, Maite; Holden and Kevin.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends; meeting friends for coffee or lunch on a regular basis; playing guitar in the worship band; working out with my son Holden; vacationing in Hawaii with Linda.

I’m the elder liaison for our church’s benevolence ministry; I’m involved with our Care Ministry, twice a month food pantry; I’m the elder liaison for our Young Adult ministry (YAYP, Living Room); and like I mentioned before, I enjoy playing in the worship band, especially when Linda is singing and Holden is playing percussion.

The Bible verse that means the most to me at this time in my life, is Philippians 2:1-11. Paul encourages us toward unity in Christ through the Spirit, to be like minded in love and to put others needs ahead of our own. In verses 6-11, he lays out the whole premise of what Jesus gave up as the King of the universe, how He became a man and humbled himself in obedience to God even so far as to be executed on a cross; so that then God exalted Him to the highest place and gave him the name above all names.

Jesus, the Son of God, did that for me. All that I can do, with assistance from the Holy Spirit, is to live my life in gratitude.

I pray that God’s Spirit will penetrate the hearts of every person who calls Campbell Church home and that we as a church will individually and collectively live out our vision statement to “Go Make Disciples”.

Sandeep and Renae have been married for 26 years, and have 2 children. Zachary is in graduate school at Stanford studying engineering. Zoe is a 3rd year nursing student at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Sandeep works as a Director of Marketing at Credo Semiconductor and has been working high tech chip companies including Intel and Marvell for the past 32 years.

Sandeep moved to the bay area in 1991 after growing up and attending college in Virginia. Sandeep was baptized at age 17 at the Colonial Heights Church of Christ a few years after being invited to church through the “Joy Bus ministry”. Sandeep enjoys working in the Children’s and Audio/Video ministries. He also enjoys serving at CityTeam as well as Daybreak.

Sandeep and Renae met through college church friends in 1995 and were married in 1996. Both Zachary and Zoe attended Campbell Christian Schools from pre-school to grade 5 after which they both attended Valley Christian Schools. Renae has degrees in Chemistry and Biology and was a full-time mom until the kids were in Jr High School at which time she started working at Valley Christian, as a Bible teacher until 2021. She now enjoys taking people on hikes, road biking, mountain biking, and camping adventures. Renae also loves to engage women and young people in a deep study of the Bible.

We are but humble servants, rejoicing daily at the grace He has given us!

Ming and Ulrike have been members of Campbell Church of Christ since 2004. Ming has been involved in several ministries at Campbell. He worked as part of a team that restarted the men’s retreat at the Day Break camp around 2010 and was part of the leadership team for many years. Ming started the care ministry here at Campbell and co-led it for several years, serving low-income families in our community. He currently co-leads the FriendSpeak ministry at Campbell, which enables English learners from around the world to practice English using the Scriptures. He is passionate about helping the most vulnerable and actively serves the homeless. Ulrike was involved in Campbell’s Stephen ministry and has been a member of the church praise team for many years. They enjoy hiking, bird watching, star gazing and visiting with their two sons.

One of their favorite scripture is Matthew 17:20 “for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
